Mahbubul Islam

Law Clerk
Mahbubul Islam has been serving as a Law Clerk at The Baig Firm since September 2020. In this role, he provides essential support to the firm’s attorneys through meticulous legal research, the drafting of legal memoranda, and the preparation of pleadings, motions, and other legal filings. His contributions are integral to the firm’s work in the areas of business law, personal injury, and general civil litigation.
Mr. Islam earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2020, where he was honored as a Dean Rusk International Law Center Scholar. He previously earned his Bachelor of Laws with honors from the University of Dhaka in 2014.
Following the completion of his legal studies in Bangladesh, Mr. Islam began his career as a licensed attorney in Dhaka, where he advised and represented clients in a wide range of legal matters, including corporate transactions, contract disputes, and personal injury litigation.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Islam held an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor at Eastern University in Dhaka, where he taught courses in constitutional law, corporate law, and tort law.
