Associate Attorney – Business Law, Litigation, and Personal Injury

Mahbubul Islam has been with The Baig Firm since 2020, first as a law clerk and now as an attorney. He provides meticulous legal research, drafting of legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other legal filings. His contributions are integral to the firm’s work in the areas of business law, civil litigation, and personal injury.

Mr. Islam earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2020, where he was honored as a Dean Rusk International Law Center Scholar. He previously earned his Bachelor of Laws with honors from the University of Dhaka in 2014.

Following the completion of his legal studies in Bangladesh, Mr. Islam began his career as a licensed attorney in Dhaka, where he advised and represented clients in a wide range of legal matters, including corporate transactions, contract disputes, and personal injury litigation.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Islam held an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor at Eastern University in Dhaka, where he taught courses in constitutional law, corporate law, and tort law.
