Mohamad P. Nielsen is an Associate Attorney with The Baig Firm and focuses his work on the Firm's Civil Litigation practice.  Mohamad was born in Jacksonville, Florida. His family relocated to the Metro Atlatna area and Mohamad would eventually attend and graduate from Lassiter High School.  While at Lassister, Mohamad was a student leader in the Lassiter High School Marching Band.  He was also an active member of the Boy Scouts of America, where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. After graduation from Lassiter, Mohamad chose to stay close to  home and enrolled at the University of Georgia.


While at UGA, Mohamad obtain a dual degree in Psychology and International Affairs. He also served as the President of the Athens Trombone Association. Mohamad developed a deep interest in human relationships, interactions, and connections. This interest lead Mohamad to pursue a career in social justice, which in turn led him to enroll at the Georgia State University College of Law so that he could pursue his interest in public interest law.


Mohamad served as Student Attorney with the Health Law Partnership as well as the Georgia Public Defenders Council. Through these experiences, Mohamad gained practical experience in counseling, litigation, and advocacy on behalf of indigent clients. Mohamad thoroughly and effectively represented clients in a variety of matters. Mohamad’s successful advocacy provided his clients with truly life-changing legal outcomes in everything from disability benefits to housing disputes. Mohamad’s accomplishments allowed him to pioneer the Graduate Research Assistant position within the Health Law Partnership and become one of the first ever recipients of the State Bar of Georgia’s Health Law Section Scholarship. Mohamad graduated with the highest pro bono distinction achievable at Georgia State’s College of Law, which attests to Mohamad’s strong intention to bring uplifting outcomes with every possible opportunity to clients whom he deeply cares about.
